Senti, generic name orlistat capsules, is recommended for adults to take 0.12g orally with a meal or within 1 hour of a meal, and may be discontinued once if no meal was eaten or if the meal did not contain fat. Orlistat capsules are a specific gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor that reduces the digestion and absorption of fat and is indicated for the treatment of obese or overweight patients with a body mass index ≥24. The drug is generally recommended for adults to take 1 capsule (0.12g/capsule) orally during or within 1 hour after meals, and can be discontinued if a meal is not eaten or the meal does not contain fat, and should not be taken more than 3 times a day.
