Preoperative preparation for nasal polyps

The following preparations need to be done before doing nasal polyp surgery: 1. Patients need to do routine checkups, including blood aspects and coagulation tests; 2. Routine CT to look at the structure and development of the nasal cavity and sinus cavity; 3. Anti-inflammatory for 3-5 days before surgery, because nasal polyps are often inflammatory polyps, after anti-inflammatory treatment can greatly reduce intraoperative bleeding and make the surgery smoother; 4. Pre-operative diet should be light, if drinking something too heavy with fire can cause constipation and intestinal discomfort, both of which can cause post-operative complications.
