Pediatric hyperactivity disorder is a chronic neuropsychiatric disorder, mostly seen in preschool and school-age children. Our experience in treating pediatric hyperactivity disorder is described below. The occurrence of this disease is inseparable from the physiological characteristics of children. The child is a child’s Yin and Yang body, the physiological function is not perfect, although the development of organs has been formed, but into but not complete, full but not strong, the spirit of weakness, easily disturbed. In addition, children have poor adaptability and are unable to tolerate sudden changes in the external environment, and when they encounter sudden stimuli, the five spirits will change their positions. At the same time, the deficient endowment of children and the deficiency of kidney essence, resulting in the weakness of the five organs and the disorder of the five wills, is also one of the main causes of this disease. In addition, children’s diet is not self-controlled, excessive consumption of fatty, sweet and thick-tasting products, loss of spleen health, the growth of phlegm and heat over time, and hyperactivity of liver and yang; or children are not properly regulated, feel wind and perversion, the same qi seeking, external wind can also lead to the development of internal wind. Second, the pathogenesis of the generalized kidney deficiency, liver vigor, wind and Yang agitation of children at a time of rapid development, the kidney is not yet strong, Qi and blood is not yet full, so it is said that “kidney often deficient”. Insufficient kidney yin, liver yin is deficient, it is unable to contain liver yang, so that liver yang is prone to hyperactivity, this is called “mother disease and child”. In addition, children are prone to hyperactivity of Liver-Yang and inflammation of the heart fire, so they have the pathological characteristic of “the liver always has excess and the heart is always solid”. Most of these children have deficiency of kidney yin, water does not contain wood, liver yang is hyperactive, wind and yang are internally moved, or the five wills are too extreme, the qi is stagnant, breeding fire and generating phlegm, phlegm and fire are internally disturbed, and the mind is restless. The pathology mainly involves the heart, liver and kidney, and the pathological factors are mainly wind, fire and phlegm. The clinical symptoms of polydactyly in children are complex and varied, with frequent onset and cessation, and easily recurring. The main symptoms are involuntary, rapid, repetitive, rhythmless twitching of the face, head and neck, extremities, and trunk muscles, and may be accompanied by involuntary vocalizations and emotional behavior changes. According to its symptoms, it can be classified into the categories of liver wind, concoction, slow-onset wind, tendon tigers and flesh, depression evidence, and plum kernel qi in Chinese medicine. Through years of clinical observation, we believe that the symptoms of this disease can be categorized into five aspects: wind, phlegm, fire, depression, and panic. Based on the above understanding, we established the basic treatment method of nourishing kidney and nourishing yin, pacifying liver and quenching wind, clearing phlegm, and clearing the mind and calming the spirit. Composition: Sheng Di Huang, Bai Shao, Tian Ma, Hooked Vine, Stiphula, Di Long, Quan Scorpion, Yu Jin, etc. Bai Shao tonifies liver blood, calms liver yang, and regulates liver qi. Although Tian Ma, Hooked Vine, Di Long, and Silkworm are all used to calm the liver and quench wind and stop spasm, their effects are different. Tian Ma favors submerging liver yang, Hooked Vine favors clearing liver heat, Di Long clears lung heat and water channels, and Silkworm also resolves phlegm heat. The above are the subjects. The combination of these herbs enables the yin of liver and kidney to be nourished, the yang of hyperactivity to be calmed, and the phlegm and fire of stagnation to be dissolved, so that all the symptoms of wind and yang agitation are removed. In addition, the combination of Sheng Di Huang and Bai Shao, quiet pure nourishment, nourishing the kidney and liver, nourishing the blood and tonifying the blood, and cooling the blood; Bai Shao and hooked vine, combined yin and yang, both the symptoms and the root, nourishing the liver and pacifying the liver; stiff silkworm and Di Long combined, one ascending and one descending, quenching the wind and stopping spasms, clearing heat and increasing the power of phlegm; Yu Jin is light and upward, first ascending and then descending, both into the qi, and into the blood, qi and blood, qi and blood harmonization, qi flow is regulated, phlegm is dissolved, the mind and spirit The combination of yin-quiet and yang-moving drugs in this formula is mutually restraining and useful, which can achieve the effect of yin-peace and yang-secret, and the spirit can be cured.
