Minimally invasive breast fibroid surgery, generally referred to as ultrasound-guided negative pressure suction spinotomy, requires a determination of whether the patient can undergo surgery based on the size and location of the tumor. Doctors do not recommend minimally invasive surgery for breast fibroids, probably because the patient’s condition is not within the indications for surgery. First, minimally invasive surgery can be performed when the breast fibroadenoma is under 3 cm and does not grow around the areola. The surgery involves removing the breast fibroadenoma through a small open incision at the edge of the breast. Therefore, if the size of the tumor is not within this range or the growth location is not suitable, the doctor may not recommend minimally invasive surgery and will mostly use traditional surgery to remove the lesion to reduce the chance of recurrence. Secondly, if the breast fibroids are large, minimally invasive surgery may cause damage to the milk ducts, which may make breastfeeding difficult for women of childbearing age. In addition, minimally invasive surgery is also prohibited for people with coagulation disorders, breast implants, serious cardiovascular diseases, and difficulties in pressure bandaging to avoid serious complications, such as bleeding, pneumothorax, and changes in breast appearance. Finally, although minimally invasive surgery has the advantages of smaller incisions, no need to remove stitches after surgery, fast recovery time and aesthetics, the surgery is expensive and has a high risk of recurrence after breast fibroid surgery. Regardless of the type of treatment used for breast fibroids, the choice should be made under the guidance of a doctor, taking into account the patient’s health and condition. After surgery, pay attention to the wound pressure dressing, return to the hospital regularly to change medicine and remove stitches to prevent infection. Eat a balanced diet and avoid spicy, fried, seafood and other stimulating foods. Take moderate walks during the recovery period, maintain a happy mood and avoid staying up late to facilitate the recovery of the organism.
