Symptoms of cesarean diverticulum

Cesarean diverticulum is mainly caused by poor healing of the uterine scar after cesarean delivery, and the main symptoms include prolonged postpartum malignant dew, prolonged menstruation, irregular vaginal bleeding and secondary infertility. 1.Prolonged postpartum malignant dew: poor healing of the uterine scar will lead to prolonged bleeding symptoms, and thus prolonged postpartum malignant dew; 2.Prolonged menstruation or irregular vaginal bleeding: the typical manifestation is prolonged menstrual cycle, postmenstrual spotting bleeding, and patients have incomplete menstruation for a long period of time, which can last for about half a month in longer cases. The reason for this is that the diverticulum is depressed in the middle, causing menstrual blood to be trapped in the diverticulum and slowing down the flow of menstrual blood. Inflammatory bleeding caused by diverticulum infection may also manifest as irregular vaginal bleeding; 3. Secondary infertility: If there is blood flowing from the uterus for a long time and there is inflammation, it may lead to reduced ability to conceive, and in severe cases, it may hinder the transport of sperm and prevent the fertilized egg from implanting, eventually leading to infertility; 4. It may be related to factors such as poor contraction of the diverticular area and poor blood supply. If the above-mentioned manifestations occur after cesarean delivery, it is suspected that the uterine scar diverticulum after cesarean delivery, it is recommended that ultrasound, MRI or hysteroscopy be done in time to confirm the diagnosis, and medication or surgery be performed according to the situation.
