Coughing will be cured in a few days

Cough can be caused by a variety of reasons and recovery time is related to the specific cause and cannot be generalized. A cough caused by a cold usually heals in about 1 week. A cough caused by bronchitis can be cured in 2-4 weeks if treated aggressively, or up to about 1 month if not treated aggressively. Allergic coughs usually recover in 1-2 days if you take anti-allergy medication. Cough caused by cough variant asthma can be relieved by inhalation of bronchodilators and glucocorticoids for half an hour to one hour. Cough due to mycoplasma pneumonia recovers in 3-4 weeks. Cough due to tuberculosis can be recovered in 1-2 months with regular anti-TB treatment, but it can be cured only after more than half a year of treatment. Coughs caused by chronic bronchitis are often prone to recur each fall and winter after treatment has improved. Cough induced by tumors can only be relieved after surgical removal of the tumor. Once cough symptoms appear, patients need to visit the respiratory medicine department in a timely manner to clarify the cause and provide symptomatic treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
