Patients who come to the fertility center will have a variety of drugs to use in the process of assisted reproduction to help them conceive, so we will briefly introduce them now to facilitate your familiarity with the medication and provide convenience for your journey to help you conceive.
1.Down regulation drugs: The process of temporarily reducing the natural production of reproductive hormones is called down regulation. Descending regulation can better control the stimulation cycle, and it helps prevent premature ovulation.
Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH): GnRH agonists, GnRH antagonists.
GnRH agonists: have a short stimulatory effect on the pituitary gland at the beginning of dosing. Treprostinil acetate for injection (Daphylline, Dabigat), an imported drug, is injected subcutaneously.
Long-acting: Daphylline 3.75mg/stem, Dabigat 3.75/stem.
Short-acting: Daphylline 0.1mg/pc, Dabigat 0.1mg/pc.
GnRH antagonist: Immediate inhibitory effect can be produced. Cetrorelix acetate for injection (Cetrorelix acetate) or ganirelix acetate injection (ORGALUTRAN), is an imported drug with a size of 0.25mg/stem, injected subcutaneously. It is usually used before the peak of LH appears.
2. Ovulation-promoting drugs: promote follicle growth and development. Gonadotropins: FSH – follicle stimulating hormone, LH – luteinizing hormone (Loreal).
Oral ovulatory drugs.
Fadilan ClomifeneCitrate Capsules: Clomifene citrate tablets, size: 50mg/tablet, 10 tablets/box.
Fury LetrozoleTablets: Letrozole tablets, size: 2.5mg/tablet, 10 tablets/box.
FSH (Follicle-stimulating Hormone): Promotes follicle growth and development, stimulates ovarian synthesis and secretion of estrogen, and stimulates the formation of luteinizing hormone receptors.
Gonal-f: recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone for injection, imported drug. Available in two packages: lyophilized powder and Gonal-F prepackaged injection pen. The lyophilized powder should be diluted with the solvent provided before use. The minimum dose is 75 IU/mL for the lyophilized powder and 37.5 IU/mL for the pen for the pre-filled injectable solution of Goenafin. This product is intended for subcutaneous injection.
Puregon: recombinant follicle stimulating hormone beta injection, imported drug. Available in two doses of 50 IU/0.5mL and 100 IU/0.5mL, packed in 1 box. This product is used for subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
Fostimen: Urinary follicle stimulating hormone for injection, imported drug. 75 units in urinary follicle stimulating hormone potency. This product can be used for subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. The powder should be dissolved in sodium chloride injection solution before injection.
Lixinbao: Urinary follicle stimulating hormone for injection, a domestic drug. 75 units in urinary follicle stimulating hormone potency. This product can be used for intramuscular injection, and the powder should be dissolved in sodium chloride injection before injection.
LH ( LuteinisingHormone): Induces ovulation (promotes egg maturation) and supports the corpus luteum (initiates luteal formation and supports the corpus luteum).
Luveris: recombinant human luteinizing hormone, imported drug, size 75 IU/stick, Luveris lyophilized powder should be diluted with the solvent provided before use. This product is for subcutaneous injection.
HMG (FSH+LH):
Lepodex HMG: Urotropin for injection, a domestic drug. This product can be used for intramuscular injection. The powder needs to be dissolved in sodium chloride injection solution before injection.
Hermitage Menopur: Urotropin for Injection, imported drug, the lyophilized powder should be diluted with the solvent provided before use. It needs to be administered by intramuscular injection or subcutaneous injection. Contains: 75IU FSH+75IU LH
3.Ovulation inducing drug: human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a gonadotropin drug for women to promote and maintain the function of the corpus luteum so that the corpus luteum can synthesize progesterone, which can promote follicle production and maturation and can simulate the peak of physiological luteinizing hormone and promote ovulation. It also maintains the corpus luteum during early pregnancy until the placenta can fully secrete progesterone and estrogen.
Chorionic gonadotropin for injection: HCG (domestic) 2000 IU/stem or 5000 IU/stem. This product requires intramuscular injection.
Azer Ovidrel: Recombinant human chorionic gonadotropin for injection, specification: 250μg, 1 stick + 1 solvent/box. This product needs to be injected subcutaneously.
4. Luteal support drugs: Prepare the endometrium for embryo implantation. It is mainly estrogen and progesterone.
Estrogen: oral, topical cream, patch
EstradiolValerate Tablets: Oral, imported drug, specification 1mg/capsule, 21 capsules/box.
EstradiolGel: Estradiol gel, imported drug, specification 30g/branch/box
Progesterone: intramuscular injection, oral, vaginal medication
Progesterone Injection: domestic drug, injection 20mg/stem intramuscularly.
Progesterone Capsules:Progesterone soft capsule, imported drug, specification: 0.1g*30 capsules, vaginal administration or oral administration are available.
Progesterone Crinone: progesterone vaginal extended release gel, imported drug, specification: 8% (90mg/1pc), vaginal administration.
Dydrogesterone Tablets: Dydrogesterone tablets, imported drug, for oral administration.
Drug storage routine.
Store at low temperature and away from light (2-8°C): Dabigat, Gonalphan, Prilosec, Hemic, Lorelei, Sizikai, Ganirelix acetate, Sizhen or Zhenyi (recombinant human growth hormone – rhGH)
Store at room temperature and away from light (10-25°C): Lishenbao, Lepodex, HCG, Daphylline, Letrozole, Fadilan, Tegretol, Estol, Duffetone, Xanax, Angiotane, Progesterone Injection.
Note: Aqueous drugs must not be frozen (i.e. they cannot freeze), and all must be refrigerated.
