Best time of day to take aspirin

The best time of day to take aspirin is not yet clear, but most experts recommend taking it between 7:00 and 8:00 am for best results. Aspirin is mainly used for anti-blood clotting, which can effectively reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular adverse events. Patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension combined with heart disease, cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction and any other risk factors may routinely take one aspirin daily. However, the best time to take aspirin has not yet been determined, but according to the human physiological state, 6:00-10:00 a.m. is the time when blood viscosity is highest and blood pressure is higher, so taking aspirin at this time has a faster effect time and can reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. It is generally recommended to take one aspirin enteric tablet in the morning, which is more appropriate. Patients who use aspirin enteric solvents or long-acting formulations can take them in the morning, thus reaching peak concentrations during the time of cardiovascular events.
