How long does it take to recover from a cesarean section

Cesarean sections usually return to normal after 3 months postoperatively. The healing of the superficial incision usually takes about 1 week; the healing of the uterine incision is relatively slow, usually taking about 1-2 months. After cesarean section, there will be malignant fluid, which usually lasts about 20 days to be completely cleared. However, the speed of recovery varies from person to person because of the tendency of poor rest, bleeding and poor eating after the operation, which have a greater impact on the body. After cesarean section, the uterus can shrink into the pelvic cavity in about 7-9 days and basically return to its original state in about 42 days, and it takes at least 6 months to return to normal. In addition, women need to pay attention to keep their vulva clean and dry after caesarean section, and eat more high-protein and high-vitamin food, which is light and easy to digest, not too greasy. After the wound has fully recovered, you can exercise gradually and moderately to help restore your figure, but do not be too strenuous.
