Atrophic gastritis C2 is moderate. atrophic gastritis is divided into six types according to the distribution range: C1, C2, C3, O1, O2, O3. c is short for Close, a closed atrophic gastritis, ranging from the gastric sinus, gastric horn, gastric small body to the cardia as C1, C2, C3 respectively. o is short for Open, the lesion is in the gastric body. type C2 indicates Atrophic changes in the mucosa of the gastric sinus and the gastric horn, i.e. atrophy of the mucosal glands, accompanied by a decrease in the number of glands and overall thinning of the mucosa but thickening of the muscular layer.
