Five major classes of drugs for the treatment of hypertension

The first class of drugs is calcium antagonists, which are mainly used to lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels. Familiar drugs: nifedipine, amlodipine, lacidipine, these drugs are calcium antagonists, which are commonly used antihypertensive drugs. Mainly used for the elderly hypertension, or combined with coronary hypertension, this class of drugs is still more widely used. The second category of antihypertensive drugs is diuretics, including thiazides (dihydrocotinine) and tachyphylaxis, indapamide, etc. These are diuretics, which are also mainly used in the elderly, especially the elderly systolic blood pressure is relatively high, and hypertension with edema patients. The third category of antihypertensive drugs are beta-blockers, such as Tuanjinan, Betaxolol, Bisoprolol (Bosu, Kang Xin) all belong to this category of antihypertensive drugs. This class of drugs is mainly used for young people, high diastolic blood pressure, or hypertension combined with coronary heart disease people. The fourth category is angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) or angiotensin receptor antagonists (ARB), the earliest of which is Kepone, as well as Fosinopril and Perdopril, which are all in this category. The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who have been in the business for a long time. The above categories are the more commonly used antihypertensive drugs.
