How do I prepare for a colonoscopy?

Hello, Dr. Song! I started noticing bleeding in my stool last Sunday, it was bright red, and for the past few days I have been bleeding every time I have a bowel movement, but there is no pain. The amount of bleeding is not much, basically a slow drip state. Because I may have had hemorrhoids before, the attacks are usually accompanied by pain around the anus, sometimes with bleeding and sometimes without. But the last two or three years, because of more attention (and probably not very serious originally), basically no episodes. This time, the symptoms of blood in the stool are a bit strange, there is no pain around the anus at all, but (bowel) bowel movements are more frequent, I suspect that there is a problem deeper in the rectum, so it may not be a hemorrhoid attack. There is some concern if it is a more serious lesion? Since I have been eating at home lately and have not eaten anything special, and my family has not had any problems similar to mine, I judge for myself that it should not be a bacterial infection of the intestines or something like that. This is the basic situation, and I would like to know: do I need to go to the gastroenterology department or the anorectal surgery department for examination? If so, what do I need to do in advance? I read online that I may need to eat a liquid diet two days in advance, and that I will have to irrigate my own bowel before going there? If I need to have a stool test, should I have an enema after the stool test?
