Pediatric bronchopneumonia in a few days

Pediatric bronchopneumonia usually recovers in about 2 weeks, and in severe cases it takes about 1 month. It depends mainly on the patient’s own condition and the severity of the disease. Pediatric pneumonia is mainly caused by bacteria or viruses that cause inflammation of the bronchial walls and alveoli. The onset of the disease is rapid, with clinical symptoms such as fever, vomiting and respiratory distress, and in severe cases, neurological and circulatory involvement and even life-threatening effects. It can be treated by oral medication at first and can be cured in about 2 weeks for milder symptoms. If parents find that their children are having difficulty breathing, they should take them to the pediatric respiratory clinic for chest X-ray and drug sensitivity tests. Antibiotics should be selected based on the results of drug sensitivity under the advice of the doctor, and attention should be paid to differentiate the disease from other pneumonia, which usually takes about 1 month to recover. In addition, it is recommended to keep the indoor air circulation and temperature appropriate, and the child should drink more hot water and go out as little as possible.
