What are the precautions to be taken before refractive surgery?

1. Before surgery, please order anti-inflammatory eye drops as required. When ordering eye drops, please wash your hands clean, lie flat, gently peel back the lower eyelid (skin), look upward at the eyeball, and put the eye drops in the lower conjunctival sac (the place where the lower eyelid meets the white eyeball), please do not drop on the cornea (black eye), the eye drops bottle is slightly higher, do not touch the eye and eyelashes to avoid contaminating the eye drops bottle. Please read the drug instructions in detail for the storage of eye drops. 2.Please do not wear contact lenses and keratomileusis for 1-2 weeks before surgery, you can wear frame glasses. 3.Please undergo the surgery in good physical condition. It is best for women to avoid undergoing surgery during the physiological period to avoid a decrease in resistance and increase the chance of infection. 4.No perfume, hairspray, etc., no makeup, and avoid using too oily skin care products on the day of surgery. 5.Before entering the operating room, please give your valuables, jewelry and cell phone to a companion for safekeeping; if you do not have a companion, please turn off your cell phone and carry your valuables with you. 6.For the smooth operation, you can go to the bathroom before entering the operating room. 7.Please relax and don’t be nervous. If you feel uncomfortable during the surgery, please inform the doctor and cooperate closely with him/her to ensure the smooth operation. 8.Helen or Colpitol eye drops: (1) If you start to order eye drops on the 1st day before surgery, you should order them once every 10 minutes for 6 times in the first hour, and then change to once every hour, and rest normally at night, and order them until you enter the operating room on the day of surgery. (2) If the eye drops are started 2 days before the operation, they will be ordered every 2 hours, with normal rest at night, until the operating room on the operation day. (3) If the eye drops are started 3 days before surgery, they are ordered four times a day with normal rest at night, and are ordered until the operating room on the day of surgery.
