In general, a normal healthy diet is sufficient, but only during certain periods or when certain symptoms appear, a little attention in diet is needed. For many patients who suffer from poor appetite and even weight loss during treatment and recovery, it is recommended to choose protein-rich and calorie-rich foods (as shown below). At the same time, it is recommended to eat smaller and more frequent meals in order to consume more protein and calories without increasing the total amount of food. Some patients may not be able to gain weight in this way, but it can help slow weight loss or maintain weight stability. Diarrhea: It is often caused by functional neuroendocrine tumors such as gastrinoma and other hormone secretion. Avoid alcoholic and caffeinated beverages; eat less and more slowly; eat lightly; reduce fat intake.
