[Facial spasm] Surgery selection problem

Facial spasm is a functional condition that is not usually life-threatening, but only affects the patient’s quality of life, so the timing of surgery depends on the patient’s ability to tolerate the condition. Many of the cases we treat have a history of receiving many treatments, and other treatments fail to provide long-term relief before surgery is performed to relieve symptoms. The most effective treatment at present is microvascular decompression, which is very effective, not very invasive and takes less than 2 hours to operate, and the problem of surgical results, according to our experience, the vast majority of postoperative convulsions can be stopped.
