Colon cancer liver metastases are mostly in advanced stage of tumor. The treatment method is decided according to individual differences, psychological condition, age and the ease of surgical resection of liver metastases, i.e. simultaneous surgical resection or staged surgical resection. If the patient’s physical condition is good and the metastases are easy to be removed on the liver surface, colon cancer resection and liver metastases resection are adopted. If the patient is old and combined with cardiopulmonary and other important organ dysfunction, staged surgery should be adopted, and colon cancer surgery should be performed first and then liver metastases should be removed. If the metastases are in important parts or near large blood vessels, they can be treated by ablation and interventional methods, and the best interval between the two surgeries is 3 months.
