The basis of my recommendation for patient choice of treatment

Most of the outpatients, after consultation and reading the imaging data, were recommended by me to choose conservative treatment for the following reasons: Among the current outpatients, most of them are not in serious condition, mainly neck and shoulder pain and lumbar pain, which are mainly soft tissue and bone and joint degeneration problems, and will have significant symptom relief after a period of time using physical therapy, massage, medication and attention to health care; the upper part Patients with more serious conditions, mainly herniated discs compressing the nerve tissue causing pain in the limbs, if the symptoms appear for the first time, without conservative treatment, and the symptoms are not to the extent that the pain affects sleep, I would recommend that you try conservative treatment first, because 90% of patients will eventually have their symptoms relieved and avoid surgery. A small percentage of patients are advised to be hospitalized for surgery for the following reasons: herniated discs that severely compress the nerves and are unlikely to recover from conservative treatment in terms of symptoms and imaging. Instead of enduring the pain of long conservative treatment without healing, it is better to operate to solve the problem sooner; slipped lumbar spine: in this case, if the slipped segment is not stabilized by surgery, there is a possibility of progression and, with age, the I recommend early surgery in this case; spinal tuberculosis: the purpose of spinal tuberculosis is to remove the lesion and prevent or correct the deformity. Surgery is more likely to be required; spinal cord tumors: whether benign or malignant, surgery is preferred; spinal fractures: in most cases surgery is better than conservative treatment; spinal deformities: the vast majority of patients are already more serious when they come to see me, and hospitalization for surgery is already at the patient’s own request. In conclusion, please trust me to be able to offer professional advice for your treatment.
