Is pneumonia treatable?

Pneumonia is one of the common diseases of the respiratory system and is caused by a variety of causes such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites and other pathogenic microorganisms as well as physicochemical factors, and most pneumonia in general can be cured with appropriate medical treatment and conditioning. The principle of pneumonia treatment is comprehensive treatment and symptomatic treatment, if it is bacterial pneumonia, the main link is the application of antibacterial drugs to kill the pathogenic bacteria, according to sputum culture and bacterial sensitivity test results, the choice of targeted antimicrobial agents, but also according to the patient’s age, the severity of the disease and other specific circumstances to choose antibacterial drugs and route of administration. For some patients with severe pneumonia, treatment must be timely, adequate, combined medication, at least 5 days of medication, most 7-10 days or longer course of treatment, 2-3 days after the normal temperature can stop using antibacterial drugs. In the case of viral pneumonia, antiviral therapy is required. During the treatment of pneumonia, symptomatic treatment should be given according to the different symptoms of the patient, including antipyretic or physical cooling for body temperature above 38.5℃, coughing and coughing medication such as aminoglutethimide injection, and timely oxygen administration when there is hypoxia. The pneumonia patient’s resistance is low, so he should eat more food rich in protein, vitamins and easy to digest, and eat more lung-clearing fruits, such as apples and pears, for early recovery. Although most patients with pneumonia can be cured, they should not be taken lightly, especially the elderly, infants and children, as well as those with underlying diseases, should go to the hospital as soon as possible. You should also pay attention to exercise and keep warm to increase the ability to resist the disease.
