There are many diseases that can present with the above clinical manifestations, such as pharyngitis, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung fibrosis, lung tumor, and so on. To confirm the diagnosis of tuberculosis, the patient should complete pulmonary CT, PPD test, sputum check for antacid bacilli and other related tests. In patients with tuberculosis, a chest X-ray or lung CT usually shows foci of tuberculosis, mostly in the upper lobe of the lung, and the PPD test is usually strongly positive. Therefore, clinically, it is not possible to judge whether it is tuberculosis simply by clinical symptoms, and further improvement of relevant tests is needed to make a clear diagnosis.
