What’s wrong with anal dampness?

There are many causes of increased anal discharge, both physiological and pathological, which vary in treatment. I. Elderly or frail people The anal sphincter muscle is relaxed or its contraction force is reduced, so that the anus does not close tightly and the intestinal mucosa secretes intestinal mucus easily leaks out of the anus, especially in the case of exertion, the anal dampness is more significant. For the above situation, we should strengthen the exercise of the contraction function of the anal sphincter, such as the exercise of lifting the anus under the hot water bath, the exercise of sphincter stretching and contracting, the massage of the anal area, the acupuncture of the long strong, lumbar and perineal points and the appropriate use of tonics. Second, the anal sebaceous glands, sweat glands secretion is strong, especially the body type of obese people, the anus is deep between the two sides of the buttocks, so that the perianal skin and sweat can not evaporate well, resulting in the anal part often wet, should pay attention to the anal area cleanliness and hygiene, and keep dry. Third, the perianal skin disease suffering from eczema, herpes, contact dermatitis, acute warts and skin infection after abscess ulceration, etc., can cause increased local secretions in the anus. Timely and reasonable drug treatment for various causes can effectively eliminate or reduce anal lesions. The anal fistula is formed after the perianal rectal abscess breaks down or incision and drainage. It is also a common cause of anal dampness due to repeated ulceration, pus flow and inflammatory exudation. Most of them require surgical removal of anal fistula to be cured. In severe cases, the hemorrhoids not only come out during defecation, but also come out of the anus when coughing, straining, or walking, due to contraction of the anal sphincter, embedded hemorrhoids, edema, and increased exudate. The hemorrhoid mass should be dragged back by hand in time, and after the local inflammation has subsided, a combination of Chinese and Western medicine should be used to treat it. VI. Complete rectal prolapse Often occurs when the anal sphincter is weak and the whole rectum or mucosa comes out of the anus, the rectal mucosal fluid will contaminate the perianal skin, resulting in increased secretion from the anal opening. The surgical sequelae of anal surgery, such as anal fistula and fissure, cut off or damage more external or internal sphincter muscles, resulting in a decrease in the ability to close the anus, and the liquid in the rectum easily spills out of the anus. Prevention is important, and surgery should not damage or cut the sphincter as much as possible. Once it occurs, conservative treatment should be given first, and the contraction function of the anal sphincter should be exercised, and if necessary, sphincter repair or formation should be performed.
