What to do when a family member has suspicious symptoms

(1) If you have symptoms of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus infection, seek medical attention according to your condition. (2) Avoid taking public transportation such as subways and buses, and avoid going to crowded places. (3) When visiting a doctor, tell the doctor about your travel and residence history in the area where the disease is endemic and who you have been in contact with since the onset of the disease, and cooperate with the doctor in conducting relevant investigations. (4) Family members of the patient should wear masks, keep a distance from other family members who are asymptomatic, and avoid close contact. (5) If someone in the family is diagnosed with pneumonia due to novel coronavirus infection, other family members who are judged to be close contacts should be placed under medical observation for 14 days. (6) Disinfect the air and frequently touched areas and objects where the symptomatic family member lives.
