Hypertension has become the most common cardiovascular disease in China. At the same time, the survey results also show that it is at a very low level. In other words, 110 million people in China do not know they have hypertension, 120 million people with hypertension are not treated with regular antihypertensive drugs, and 150 million people with hypertension do not achieve their blood pressure reduction goals. Studies have shown that elevated blood pressure is an independent risk factor for the development of stroke and coronary heart disease, and also causes complications in the heart, brain, kidneys and other organs, seriously endangering human health, so it is extremely important to raise awareness of hypertension for early prevention and timely treatment.
