Bowel cancer usually forms in a few years

The formation process of bowel cancer is relatively long, usually about 10 years. Bowel cancer is mostly seen in middle-aged and elderly people, which is manifested as increased frequency of bowel movement and change of stool properties, etc. It mostly develops from intestinal diseases such as intestinal inflammation and intestinal polyps, due to repeated inflammatory stimulation of intestinal wall, resulting in proliferation of intestinal mucosal cells to form intestinal polyps, and if they are not removed in time, some of them will gradually evolve into malignant tumors, i.e. bowel cancer. However, the formation of intestinal cancer is an extremely long process, usually about 10 years or even longer, which is related to the patient’s own resistance, family genetic history and bad living habits. The formation of bowel cancer is closely related to patients’ usual dietary habits, such as frequent consumption of spicy and irritating foods, as well as smoking and drinking alcohol, which can increase the chance of bowel cancer. If patients find intestinal polyps, they should be removed in time, and at the same time, they should develop a good routine, exercise properly and have regular medical checkups.
