What are the sparks coming out of your eyes when you cough?

Coughing with sparks in the eyes is usually caused by coughing too hard and causing a lack of blood supply to the brain; it can also be caused by a violent cough that causes pressure on the nerves in the eyes. Coughing with sparks in the eyes is usually normal. When the whole body exerts itself during coughing, the pressure in the chest cavity changes, the amount of blood returned to the body decreases and the amount of cardiac output decreases, resulting in a drop in blood pressure, which can lead to a lack of blood supply to the brain. In addition, violent coughing may cause pressure on the nerves in the eyes, which may lead to sparking eyes. When coughing with sparks in the eyes, patients are advised to actively treat the cough and undergo relevant tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar and echocardiography. Pay attention to exercise, strengthen the body, take rest and eat regularly.
