Breast is the symbol of women, it is the second sex symbol of women, it represents youth, love and life. As we age, the incidence of various breast diseases, especially breast cancer, gradually increases. According to the World Health Organization, it is estimated that about 1.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 500,000 die every year worldwide. In China, breast cancer has become the number one killer of modern women, with 56 out of 100,000 people suffering from breast cancer, and the age of onset is younger than that of the West, about 10 to 15 years earlier, and the incidence rate gradually increases after the age of 25, reaching a peak between 50 and 54. Therefore, women, especially young women, should first learn how to prevent breast diseases, and secondly, pay attention to breast cancer screening to achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, so as to improve the early diagnosis and cure rate. Caring for breasts is a lifelong career for women, which requires women to start from various details to take care of the health and beauty of breasts and stay away from the threat of breast cancer. 1. Prevention of breast cancer The cause of breast cancer is not yet fully understood, so there is no definite method to prevent breast cancer. However, studies have found that women with high risk factors for breast cancer are prone to develop breast cancer. Family history of breast cancer is one of the main risk factors for the development of breast cancer, which refers to the presence of a first-degree relative (mother, daughter, sister) with breast cancer. Other risk factors include early menarche (<12< span="">years old), late menopause (>55 years old), being unmarried, not having children, late childbearing, and not breastfeeding, all of which are closely related to the development of breast cancer. Psychological factors: In addition to genetic factors, poor interpersonal relationship, excessive mental tension and mental stress are the main triggers of breast cancer. Modern women are under more and more pressure, and the proportion of breast cancer cases is 62% higher than normal people who experience more than 2 kinds of severe or moderate stressful events. In recent years, the incidence trend in China is higher in developed regions than in backward regions, higher in urban than in rural areas, and higher in “white collar” (white collar, backbone, elite) than in ordinary professionals. Studies show that a large amount of long-term negative emotions and stress can disrupt the hormonal balance in the body and lead to a decrease in cellular immunity. Therefore, to keep away from breast cancer, the first step is to create a positive and healthy state of mind and keep a happy and optimistic mood. Dietary factors: The development of breast cancer is related to many bad habits, so women should try to make their life and diet more healthy. First of all, you should develop good eating habits, maintain normal weight, exercise in moderation and avoid obesity. Increase the intake of fresh vegetables and fruits, and pay attention to reduce the intake of high-fat, high-energy, especially fried foods. Because the aromatase in fat cells can convert androgens in the body into estrogens, once breast tissue is exposed to this estrogen excess for a long time, cancer of breast epithelial cells and proliferation and invasion of estrogen receptor-positive breast tumor cells may occur. Second, avoid drinking and smoking, including active and passive smoking, and drink less coffee. Alcohol stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete prolactin and the xanthine contained in coffee are closely related to the development of breast cancer. Clothing factors: Bras not only make women get rid of the comfort of tight clothes and highlight women’s beautiful body shape, but more importantly, they have good health care functions for breasts, including protecting nipples, preventing breast laxity and keeping breast fat accumulation. Although wearing a bra has many benefits, but if not worn correctly, it can cause various breast diseases. For example, tight bras, narrow straps and too thick bras can cause long-term pressure on the breasts and surrounding tissues, leading to obstruction of venous and lymphatic flow near the breasts, which is one of the factors triggering breast cancer. Therefore, when wearing a bra, it is necessary to: fit the size and elasticity of the bra appropriately to cover both breasts; remove the bra when sleeping; keep the bra clean, especially for breastfeeding women; and don’t wear it too early for young girls, usually around 17 years old, to avoid affecting the breast development. 2.Screening of breast cancer The clinical manifestations of breast cancer are mainly breast lumps, orange peel-like changes of breast skin, nipple overflow, abnormal nipples and areolas, enlarged lymph nodes under the armpit and above and below the collarbone, emaciation, anemia, cachexia and so on. However, data show that with early detection, more than 96% of breast cancers can be treated. The International Union Against Cancer has pointed out that breast cancer is a malignant tumor that may be treated through screening or screening. The so-called breast cancer screening is a way to identify people with or suspected of having tumors in the population by using certain special screening methods to achieve early detection and to confirm the diagnosis and treatment in one step. In patients with early diagnosis, the 5-year survival rate is more than 95%, while the 5-year survival rate for patients with intermediate and advanced stages is less than 20%. Therefore, women over 20 years old should try to achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment through breast cancer screening, based on good dietary and lifestyle habits, to effectively detect abnormalities in the breast in a timely manner. The most effective early detection measures are self-examination and physical examination. Self-examination: From clinical experience, breast cancer in young women is more dangerous and more likely to recur and metastasize. Therefore, it is important for women to perform self-examinations regularly starting from the age of 20. Breast self-examination is a good method of cancer prevention and screening that is easy to implement, affordable and easy to promote. By mastering the correct method of breast self-examination, it is very likely to detect many breast diseases including early breast cancer. Insist on regular self-examination, once a month; 3~5 days after menstruation is appropriate, when breasts are looser and softer. The staff of Tongji Hospital, affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, combined with clinical experience to create a set of simple and easy to remember breast self-examination recipes, thus improving self-examination compliance. The recipe reads as follows: breast disease is very troublesome, self-examination is very important. When taking a bath, before going to bed, three or four days after menstruation. Raise your hands first, then cross your back, and look carefully in the mirror. Color height and size, left and right symmetry is important. Put your left hand behind your head and check your left breast with your right hand; feel your breast nipples and armpits carefully with your four fingers together; touch your left on the right and left on the right, and don’t miss any areas; find lumps or overflow, and seek medical attention if you suspect any abnormality. Physical examination: In addition to regular breast self-examination, women from the age of 30, every six months to go to the hospital for breast examination. This includes the following three ways: first, through professional and experienced breast surgeons palpation, which may find small lumps that cannot be found during self-examination; second, through professional ultrasound, which is a more effective method for domestic women. Because Chinese women have less fatty tissue in the breast, ultrasound is an advantage because it can indirectly determine possible abnormalities in the breast through changes in the direction of the ducts, changes in vascular blood flow and the echo of the masses in the breast; third, mammography, which starts at the age of 40 and can be performed earlier than 30 for those with multiple risk factors for breast cancer. The third is mammography.
