Is Parkinson’s contagious to others?

With increasing age, the incidence of Parkinson’s disease increases every year, therefore, ageing is considered to be one of the causes of Parkinson’s disease. In terms of environmental factors, exposure to substances containing MPTP-like substances, such as drug use, pesticide exposure to pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, organochlorine pesticides, or exposure to plastic resin glue, paint, gasoline, metals such as aluminum, copper, manganese, etc. Parkinson’s disease is another genetic factor, it is generally believed that Parkinson’s disease has a certain genetic predisposition, people with Parkinson’s disease in close relatives than in close relatives without Parkinson’s disease chances of disease 2 – 3 times greater, the difference between the two is not too much, so, it is generally considered not the main factor. Similar to hypertension and coronary heart disease, the genetic susceptibility gene is predominant, rather than a genetic disease as generally understood. In contrast, most genetic factors are more apparent in early-onset Parkinson’s, which is generally a disease before the age of 40. In addition, due to cerebral atherosclerosis, cerebral blood supply deficiency, stroke, cerebral atrophy, traumatic brain injury, gas poisoning and other factors caused by the manifestation of Parkinson’s disease is called Parkinson’s syndrome. In addition, there are some other diseases combined with the clinical manifestations of Parkinson’s disease, called Parkinson’s disease superimposed syndrome.
