The most common precancerous lesions

Do precancerous lesions always cause cancer? What are the common precancerous lesions? What should we do to prevent them? Can celiac disease become cancerous? ”Cervical erosion is a phenomenon on the surface of the cervix, not a disease. If there is no specific clinical manifestation, it usually does not require treatment. However, some serious cases of “cervical erosion” are caused by human papilloma virus infection, which is a major risk factor for cervical cancer. The symptoms of early cervical cancer and precancerous lesions are similar to those of celiac disease. In addition, it is recommended that women after the age of 21 should have annual cervical smears and after the age of 30, HPV (human papillomavirus) tests should be combined. Can mastocytosis develop into cancer? Mammary hyperplasia alone is not cancerous. If the ductal epithelium is highly hyperplastic and atypical hyperplasia, it may be precancerous. Atypical hyperplasia of breast tissue, intraductal papilloma and cystic hyperplasia of breast are generally regarded as precancerous lesions of breast cancer. If women find lumps in their breasts, they should consult a doctor in time for further examination to clarify the cause. Painless hematuria is a warning for kidney cancer? Painless hematuria may be an early symptom of kidney cancer and bladder cancer. In a few cases, painless hematuria may also be a symptom of prostate cancer. As long as there is hematuria, no matter the volume is high or low, even if it is not painful and only happens once in a long time, you should be highly alert and should go to a specialist of a large hospital for examination as early as possible. Can you get penile cancer from overcircumcision? The exact cause of penile cancer is still unclear, but it is closely related to prepuce and circumcision, and foreskin scale and chronic inflammatory stimulation are important causes of penile cancer. Patients with prepuce should be operated as early as possible. For those who are circumcised, it is most important to keep the foreskin locally clean, which can also reduce the incidence of penile cancer. Intestinal polyp may become cancerous if not removed? Intestinal polyp is a type of lesion in which the mucosal surface in the lumen of large intestine is elevated, resulting in local hyperplasia. Among them, inflammatory intestinal polyps, malignant polyps and lymphatic polyps are not related to intestinal cancer; proliferative intestinal polyps and adenomatous intestinal polyps are closely related to intestinal cancer. Especially adenomatous polyps are “time bombs” and need to be removed by surgery in time. Patients with intestinal polyps should stay away from cooking methods such as frying, smoking, roasting, and smoking and alcohol. Is a mole mutation a sign of cancer? It has been clinically found that some junctional nevi and mixed nevi in the skin can become malignant melanoma when stimulated by certain factors. Although junctional nevi and mixed nevi have been proven to have the tendency to become malignant, very few of them actually develop into malignant tumors. It should be noted that repeated stimulation such as friction, needle picking, incomplete excision, erosion with drugs and one’s own endocrine disorder may be the triggering factors to stimulate the malignant transformation of junctional nevus or mixed nevus into melanoma. Is white spots in the oral cavity mucosal cancer? This kind of lesion is commonly found in the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and other places. Due to the overgrowth and hyperkeratosis of squamous epithelium with certain heterogeneity, it can be transformed into squamous cell carcinoma if left untreated for a long time. However, it needs to be differentiated from other keratinizing white lesions on the oral mucosa. For long-term untreated mucosal leukoplakia, histopathological examination should be performed to exclude carcinoma. Are lung nodules a precursor of lung cancer? Lung nodules are 70%-80% benign, and only 20%-30% are precancerous lesions or lung cancer. In many cases, lung nodules are simply inflammatory lesions, and the cause of inflammatory lung nodules may simply be a result of a respiratory infection, etc. This disease is more prevalent in people over 40 years of age, so it is recommended that such people, or those at high risk with a family history of the disease, be able to have low-dose spiral CT screening for early lung cancer once a year.
