What are the most common pathological types of chronic cervicitis

Chronic cervicitis usually has four types of pathology: 1. cervical erosion, which can be classified as mild cervical erosion, moderate cervical erosion and severe cervical erosion according to the size of the erosion and the area; 2. cervical glandular cysts, which are commonly referred to as cervical nuchal cysts, where various white vesicles of different sizes containing mucus can be seen protruding from the surface of the cervix during gynecological examination; 3. external cervix that protrudes and form polyp-like changes; 4. Cervical hypertrophy, where the cervix has different degrees of hypertrophy and the surface looks very smooth but has a harder texture. These four types of pathology are the conditions that usually occur in chronic cervicitis.
