Chronic cervicitis with glandular squamous needs to be treated according to the clinical staging of the patient’s chronic cervicitis. If it is just simple cervical inflammation with increased secretion you can choose to treat it conservatively with medications, such as celiac pessary, pau d’arco pessary, compound salvia tablet and curcuma oil pessary. If chronic cervicitis is manifested by cervical hypertrophy or glandular cysts, clinical observation is recommended without any treatment, as medication is not effective and surgical treatment can affect the length and elasticity of the cervix, and also affect fertility. If chronic cervicitis is manifested as cervical polyp-like hyperplasia, it is recommended to do the removal of cervical polyps and send them for pathological examination after removal. If the pathological results are just simple polyps, it is only necessary to do regular review and follow up gynecological examination. If there are other problems, further colposcopy or cervical biopsy will be needed for screening depending on the situation.
