Cervical spondylosis is a common spinal disorder. For cases with severe stenosis of multiple segments of the spinal canal or very high risk of anterior surgery, posterior cervical spine surgery or combined anterior and posterior surgery can be used. At present, posterior cervical spine surgery in China includes: single-opening surgery and double-opening surgery methods, both of which have certain defects. In response to this situation, we have adopted the modified Kurokawa posterior cervical spine surgery to treat many patients with cervical spondylosis, and the surgical results are satisfactory. The surgical approach we used is less invasive and has complete decompression. The length of the surgical incision is only 6 cm, and satisfactory surgical results can be achieved.
