Can Barrett’s esophagus take laparoscopic drugs for a long time?

The pathology of Barrett’s esophagus is a columnar epithelium at the end of the esophagus, which is heavily intestinalized. At present, the consensus in the Western medical community for the treatment of Barrett’s esophagus is: 1. “PPI is still the most effective drug for treatment at present”, but it is internationally recognized that PPI cannot reverse the enterization of Barrett’s esophagus. PPI, i.e., rabeprazole-type gastric acid inhibitors; 2. Surgery if ineffective. It can be seen that the role of rabeprazole as a gastric acid inhibitor is limited because 1, refluxed gastric acid is the external cause of destruction of the esophagus, but not the internal cause that can repair the esophagus, so rabeprazole has no efficacy that can reverse esophageal intestinalization and is not the ideal most effective drug; 2, if taken for a long time, there are certain side effects. the instructions of rabeprazole drugs from several pharmaceutical companies since 2006 have suggested that long doses of ohmeprazole “gastric mucosal cell hyperplasia and atrophic gastritis can occur in some cases”, lansoprazole animal experiments, “13 weeks of administration, gastric wall cells appear vacuolation and necrosis”, rabeprazole o rats oral years, “stomach carcinoid tumors were found”. Therefore, I have reported since 2008 that long-term administration of rabeprazole for several months is inappropriate from the analysis of Western pharmacological experiments. From the analysis of clinical efficacy, it is ineffective in improving the body’s self-repair function. From the philosophical view and treatment principles of Chinese medicine, the treatment of this disease should be based on tonifying qi, clearing heat, lowering rebellion and nourishing the stomach, focusing on tonifying the spleen and nourishing the stomach, and regulating qi and blood. For some patients who had been taking lazoles for a long time and were ineffective, I requested to stop taking lazoles and after giving more than one year of Chinese medicine treatment, the lesions and intestinalization of Barrett’s esophagus were reversed successively. It shows that TCM treatment of Barrett’s esophagus has characteristic advantages.
