Symptoms of mental retardation

Hypo-intelligence is a condition in which a person’s IQ is below 70 or 75 and is significantly below average. Children with hypo-intelligence can be significantly behind normal in several ways. First of all, the social adaptation ability is particularly poor. Children with mental retardation also have delayed motor development, and their motor development is later than that of normal children of the same age. When a child shows any of these signs, parents must use these symptoms to determine if the child is mentally retarded.
