Who is at risk for developing glucose network disease?

Which groups of people are prone to develop glucose network disease? 1. Patients with hypertension. Hypertension is an important risk factor for early retinopathy, and special attention should be paid to diabetic patients with hypertension to actively control their blood pressure in the normal range. 2.Insulin-dependent diabetic patients. This type of patient has an early onset, heavy disease, early and more serious infringement on the retinal vessels, which can easily cause diabetic eye disease. 3, during pregnancy. Diabetic retinopathy is an important problem for diabetic women. It is recommended that all pregnant diabetic women have a dilated eye exam once every 3 months to protect their vision. 4. Patients with poorly controlled diabetes mellitus. A small number of patients with poorly treated diabetes for many reasons and a long duration of hyperglycemic state can easily cause diabetic eye disease. 5, long-term asymptomatic patients with occult diabetes. Most of these patients do not know when they have diabetes, and once discovered, the disease has been in progress for many years, and there are often lesions in the fundus of the eye.
