Signs of patients with aortic stenosis are characterized by a very strong jet murmur on auscultation, conducted behind the neck or in the supraclavicular fossa, and the more severe the stenosis, the louder the jet sound, and the symptoms may not be very obvious in patients with aortic stenosis combined with heart failure, and the pulse pressure difference is small when measuring blood pressure, around 10-20 mmHg. Aortic stenosis may be congenital, such as rheumatism, rheumatic heart disease for acquired causes, or may be caused by age-related degenerative disease resulting in aortic valve calcification causing aortic valve stenosis.
