Orbital cellulitis in children is a serious complication of sinusitis, and if not treated promptly, the inflammation can spread along the optic nerve and ophthalmic veins to the intracranial and cavernous sinuses, causing fatal complications. The patient was a 3-year-old male with a preoperative WBC:25,000, and a nasal endoscopic approach to the septal sinus with incision of the orbital fascia and drainage of a large amount of pus secretion.
