Isolation measures for tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is a respiratory transmitted disease and requires respiratory isolation. Tuberculosis is mainly airborne and patients should be reminded to wear a mask and be isolated in a single room and wear a mask when in contact with the patient. Patients should be told not to spit and to disinfect the air in the room, and more importantly, they should be given regular anti-tuberculosis treatment. Mycobacterium tuberculosis can be killed by two hours of exposure to hot sunlight, 2-12 hours of exposure to 5%-12% Lysol, two minutes of exposure to 70% alcohol or one minute of boiling. Although tuberculosis is a chronic and persistent disease, it can be completely cured if patients use reasonable medication, maintain optimism and eat properly.
