If the patient currently has a rapid heart rate and high blood pressure, this condition may be considered to be due to the patient’s hyperthyroidism, as well as the patient’s rapid heart rate and high blood pressure during an episode of acute myocardial ischemia. In addition, some patients with acute left heart failure may also have this abnormal presentation. Patients are advised to have an electrocardiogram, cardiac ultrasound, BNP, and chest X-ray. Patients with pulmonary infection, or pulmonary occupancy, are not excluded from having a rapid heart rate and high blood pressure. In actual clinical practice, there are many diseases that can cause rapid heart rate and high blood pressure. There are also patients who may have taken some special medications that may trigger this phenomenon, such as patients taking ginseng or licorice drugs, or glucocorticoids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which may also show this abnormal performance.
