How to test for farsightedness in the eyes

Having farsightedness in the eyes needs to be measured by an optometry test.
Hyperopia is a common type of refractive error and is usually caused by a congenital developmental abnormality.
Patients with hyperopia need to go to the ophthalmology department of a hospital for an optometry examination to confirm the diagnosis and to find out the exact degree of hyperopia. At the same time, the doctor will distinguish physiological hyperopia or pathologic hyperopia according to the patient’s age and degree of hyperopia.
Usually, hyperopia within 300 degrees in children is physiological hyperopia, while hyperopia in adult patients or hyperopia greater than 300 degrees in children is usually pathologic hyperopia.
Hyperopia patients should go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital for consultation, and the doctor will find out the specific degree of hyperopia and determine the type of hyperopia, and then formulate an individualized treatment plan.
