A child with a fracture in the leg must go to the hospital for regular treatment. In the case of a fracture of the lower leg tibiofibula, the fracture is usually fixed by splinting or using a plaster cast after a manual repositioning. If a fracture occurs in the thigh, the local dislocation is usually so obvious that traction suspension of both lower extremities must be done to fix the fracture end, and then combined with manual repositioning and the splinting of the thigh to fix the fracture end, before conservative treatment can be done. However, if the conservative treatment is unsuccessful and the fracture is still very obviously misaligned, surgical dissection is considered and the fracture end is fixed by using a plate or a kyphotic pin.
