Precautions for patients with uterine adhesions before consultation

  1. Indications for hysteroscopy: Patients suffering from hysteroscopy who have fertility requirements or who have a requirement to restore and improve their menstruation. 2. The best time to visit the clinic: hysteroscopy can be scheduled at any time except during menstruation. For patients with menstruation, please choose to come to the clinic after menstruation. The best time for hysteroscopy is from 3-7 days after menstruation to ovulation. 3. Patients with uterine adhesions are required to undergo at least one outpatient face-to-face consultation before admission to the hospital for surgery. Pre-operative outpatient examinations include: gynecological duplex examination; routine white belt examination; color ultrasound of both uterine adnexa and pelvis; cervical cytology examination; and hysteroscopy for evaluation of uterine adhesions. 4. In order to reduce the patient’s burden and shorten the outpatient examination time, we try to refer to the patient’s previous examination results as much as possible. Please bring the checklist or examination report that you have already done when you come to the clinic. For example: cervical cytology report within 1 year; gynecological ultrasound report within 1 month; routine white belt examination within 1 week; checklist for infectious diseases such as hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis C antibody, HIV antibody, syphilis virus antibody within 3 months; and other tests such as MRI, CT, HSG, previous surgery records, etc. Depending on the circumstances, follow the interpretation of the outpatient physician or schedule a review.
