Symptoms of endometritis

Symptoms of endometritis mainly include mild fever, lower abdominal pain, leukorrhea, and mild uterine tenderness, which can progress to myometritis, tubo-ovarian inflammation, pelvic peritonitis, and even sepsis. This is a kind of pelvic inflammatory disease, mostly related to pregnancy, uterine surgery, vaginal douching, etc., mostly parasitic in the vagina and cervix of the bacteria break through the cervical defense mechanism to invade the endometrium to form inflammation. Endometritis is mostly accompanied by lower abdominal pain: in less severe cases, the pain is mild or asymptomatic, while in severe cases, there is persistent lower abdominal pain, which is often aggravated by activity or sexual intercourse. Patients with endometritis may have abnormal discharge, such as increased leukorrhea, yellow color, and odor. Patients with endometritis may have mild fever, and if the condition is severe or progressive may have high fever, sometimes accompanied by chills, headache, loss of appetite, localized abscesses may be formed in the pelvis, and some patients may have peritoneal irritation symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. If symptoms such as lower abdominal pain, abnormal vaginal discharge or fever occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early and regular treatment.
