How to read the HIV test report

The report card of HIV test is divided into two cases: i. Qualitative test, the test result is both positive and negative results. If it is positive, the possibility of HIV infection is considered and further confirmatory tests are required. If it is negative, HIV infection is not considered. Second, the quantitative test method, the normal value is within the range of 0-1, if it is greater than 1 is the so-called positive, need to do further confirmatory test clear; if it is a value between 0-1, it means it is negative, suggesting no HIV infection.
