There is no exact time for the survival period of patients with the most serious esophageal cancer, which is related to the patient’s physical condition, whether he/she has received timely treatment and the effect of treatment, etc., and cannot be generalized. When esophageal cancer is the most serious, it mainly occurs in the late stage, and the treatment effect is usually not obvious at that stage. If the patient is in good physical condition, the treatment effect is relatively good and the metastatic sites are less, the survival time may be prolonged. If the physical quality is usually poor, the prognosis of treatment is poor, and the survival time may be only a few days in the worst case. Usually, the symptoms of esophageal cancer before death often include difficulty in swallowing, food reflux, pain in the esophagus and so on, and the patient’s body is emaciated and his mental state is very poor. In the most serious period of esophageal cancer, it is recommended to do a good job of pre-terminal care and follow the patient’s wishes to reduce the pain. It is suggested that both patients and normal people need regular medical checkups for early detection, diagnosis and treatment.
