Lung cancer staging indicators include tumor size, depth of infiltration, presence of lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis. 1cm lung nodules found by simple imaging need to be staged with more examinations. If a 1cm nodule is surrounded by lung tissue and dirty pleura, and the tumor is located distal to the opening of the lobe bronchus without invading the main bronchus, it is classified as T1 stage; if there is no lymph node metastasis, it is classified as N0 stage; if there is no distant metastasis, it is classified as M0 stage. In the absence of lymph node metastasis, the tumor is classified as M0 stage. When lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis are present, staging is based on specific staging criteria. A 1 cm lung nodule is a small lung nodule and needs to be removed for treatment if there are signs of malignancy; if there are no signs of malignancy, it can be followed up for review and there is no need to worry.
