During menopause, due to the decline in ovarian function and oestrogen levels, symptoms such as facial flushing, hot flushes, excessive sweating, insomnia and emotional agitation may occur. It is recommended that dietary adjustments be made first, and that the patient should have a positive attitude, participate in social activities and exercise appropriately.
If these measures do not help, consider the possibility of menopausal syndrome and seek prompt medical attention. Often doctors will recommend estrogen and progesterone supplementation.
