Ophiopogon, Fig, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Combination Efficacy

The combination of Mai Dong Fig and Prince Ginseng has the effect of nourishing yin and generating fluids, of which figs are food with no medicinal effect. Ophiopogon has the efficacy of nourishing yin and generating fluids, moistening the lung and clearing the heart, and is used in the treatment of dry lung and dry cough, cough with deficiency of yin and consumptive cough, paralysis of the larynx (pharyngeal redness, swelling and pain, or dryness, with a sense of foreign body, or pharyngeal itchiness and discomfort, and difficulty in swallowing), sore throat, fluid injury and thirst, internal heat and thirst (internal fever accompanied by symptoms such as overeating, excessive drinking, and excessive urination), heartburn and insomnia, and constipation with dryness of the intestines and constipation. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not clear. Tai Zi Shen has the effects of benefiting qi, strengthening the spleen, promoting the production of fluids and moistening the lungs, and is used in the treatment of spleen deficiency and tiredness, loss of appetite, weakness after illness, deficiency of qi and yin, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, which is aggravated by the slightest movement), thirst, and dry lungs with a dry cough. The product should be used with caution in cases where the evil is real and the positive qi is not deficient. Although figs do not have medicinal properties, they have a certain nutritional value, and the vitamins and amino acids they contain can improve the physiological function of the body and skin tissue. Discomfort should be timely medical treatment, under the guidance of the physician’s diagnosis and selection of medication, not self-medication, so as not to delay the condition.
