Causes of vaginal darkening

Some women suddenly find their vagina dark, but they are too embarrassed to seek medical attention and are depressed all day long. There may be several reasons for vaginal darkening: 1. Genetic reasons. Genetic factors largely affect the color of labia majora, labia minora and nipples, so some people have darker vaginas. Some unmarried young women do not understand this knowledge and always feel ashamed because of the dark vagina, which is totally unnecessary. 2. Pigmentation. Melanin pigmentation in the vulva can also cause vaginal darkness in women, which is usually related to high hormonal secretion in women and is a normal phenomenon. In addition, the amount of melanin varies from woman to woman. Fair-skinned women usually have pink vaginas, while darker women have darker vaginas. 3. Sexual life is too frequent. The labia are repeatedly stimulated by external stimulation during sexual intercourse, and this stimulation will make pigmentation. Long-term too frequent sexual life will make the color of labia darker. There are many reasons for vaginal darkening besides the above. Generally speaking, vaginal darkening is a normal physiological phenomenon. If there are no other symptoms of disease, no special treatment is needed.
