How to treat Trichomonas vaginalis

Trichomonas vaginalis is an inflammation of the vagina caused by infection with the parasite Trichomonas vaginalis, also known as trichomonas vaginalis. At this stage, trichomoniasis can be treated with topical vaginal medication, external herbal cleansing, changing the pH of the vagina, and oral medication. Trichomonas vaginalis infection causes itching of the vulva, so intravaginal medication can be used to kill trichomonas. Intravaginal medication can be applied with methotrexate vaginal effervescent tablets, methotrexate tablets or metronidazole suppositories directly into the vagina and used every night after rinsing the vagina, once every other day for 10 days as a course of treatment. External cleansing medication can be used to clear heat and detoxify, kill insects and relieve itching, for example, Poria cocos and Psoralea bark decocted in water and used to cleanse the vulva or douche the vagina, which is very effective. You can also change the pH of the vagina, because the pH of trichomonas is 5.5-6, so you can use chlorhexidine acetate solution to douche the vagina, which can lower the pH of the vagina to inhibit the growth of trichomonas, thus achieving the purpose of treating trichomoniasis. Since Trichomonas is not only stored in the vagina but also in the lower urinary tract, vestibular glands and cervical glands, local medication alone cannot treat this condition. Sexual partners need to be treated together to avoid cross-infection.
