Breast is composed of skin, fibrous tissue, mammary glands and fat. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the glandular epithelial tissue of the breast. Nowadays, breast cancer has become a common tumor that threatens women’s physical and mental health. How is breast cancer caused?
1.Disorder of hormone secretion
Breast cancer is a hormone-dependent tumor. Increased estrogen level is an important cause of breast cancer, including endogenous estrogen and exogenous estrogen. The increased secretion of estrogen in the body can cause excessive proliferation of breast duct epithelial cells and cancer, or taking estrogen or estrogen-containing supplements can also induce breast tumor.
2.No childbirth and less breastfeeding
In recent years, a large number of surveys have proved that women who have not given birth or have given birth but rarely breastfeeding are more likely to develop breast cancer than women who have breastfed for many times and for a long time.
3. Chronic breast diseases
At present, it is believed that fibrocystic breast disease is a kind of pre-cancerous lesion which can easily turn into breast cancer.
4.Hereditary factors
Breast cancer has an obvious tendency of family inheritance. Epidemiological surveys have found that s% to 10% of breast cancers are familial. If one close relative has breast cancer, the risk of the disease increases by 1.5 to 3 times; if two close relatives have breast cancer, the risk of the disease will increase by 7 times. The younger the age of onset of the disease, the greater the risk of breast cancer among relatives.
5.Bad lifestyle
Mental depression, long-term smoking, physical inactivity, obesity, high-fat and high-calorie diet are the main risk factors for breast cancer.
6. Certain occupational and environmental factors
Exposure to radiation, especially in childhood, increases the probability of breast cancer in adulthood. In particular, girls who have received chest irradiation because of early cancer have a higher risk of breast cancer. In conclusion, breast cancer is a chronic disease with multiple causes, stages and mutations, which is not only caused by a single intrinsic factor (such as genetic defects) or a single extrinsic factor (such as carcinogenic factors) alone, but is the result of the alternation and interaction of multiple factors.
People who are prone to get breast cancer
(1) Those who have repeated abortions have a much higher chance of getting cancer.
(2) Those who are not breastfeeding or breastfeeding for too long have more chances to get breast cancer than those who are breastfeeding normally.
(3) Single unmarried women are more prone to breast cancer than married women, and the older they are, the more obvious this tendency is.
(4) Common use of hormonal drugs or cosmetics will also increase the risk of cancer.
(5) Women who marry late or have no children after marriage have a higher incidence of breast cancer than those who have had children.
(6) Repeated exposure of the breast to radiation for various reasons will also increase the chance of cancer.
